Multiple award-winning composer of young generation. Gorniak has received many prestigious recognitions in Poland such as the FMF Young Talent Award or Award on Transatlantyk Festival with an outstanding jury consisting of Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, Trevor Morris, Daniel Carlin, John Ottman or Andy Hill. He was also discovered worldwide receiving The Mark Award by PMA in 2016 or Hollywood Music in Media Award in 2018. He is currently working with major directors and studios such as Kinga Debska, Damian Nenow or Platige Image based in Warsaw (Poland).
He has received worldwide acclaim for his music for the Netflix original series „Love, Death + Robots” produced by David Fincher and Tim Miller or soundtrack for the game Wingspan, which has reached over 2 million streams on Spotify only and has been released as a vinyl album with huge commercial success during international Record Store Day event.
His music often features well-produced elements with modern sound design but he also enjoys writing for string quartet and symphonic orchestra.
In may 2017 in Krakow, Poland, he received the prestigious FMF Young Talent Award in the international competition writing music for a picture from the TV series “Emerald City” originally composed by Trevor Morris. His music was played by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra and the choir conducted by Diego Navarro in front of 15000 people.
Tickets for the jubilee FMF Gala were sold a month before the show. In front row were presented : Howard Shore, Jan Kaczmarek, Brian Tyler, Abel Korzeniowski and the competition jurors, including Mina Korzeniowski, Trevor Morris, Robert Townson and Daniel Carling.
A year later Gorniak received another very important recognition in Hollywood, winning Hollywood Music in Media Award for the Crossfire cinematic trailer.
